Rules & Regulations and Codes of Conduct:

 
 

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between the undersigned (“Member”, “Spectator”, “Guest”, or “Attendee”) and Crossbat, an indoor cricket facility (“Facility”). By signing below, the undersigned acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein during the term of their membership, spectatorship, guest status, or any appearance on the Facility premises.

 
 

1. Respect The undersigned agrees to treat all persons, including other members, staff, and visitors, with courtesy and respect at all times, regardless of the nature or outcome of any event or activity. The undersigned further agrees to respect the Facility and to refrain from causing any damage to the premises, equipment, or property.

 
 

2. Fair Play The undersigned agrees to comply with all event and game rules to promote fair and equitable competition. This includes, but is not limited to, using appropriate equipment, adhering to official rules and regulations, and wearing proper attire, such as shirts and shoes, as required by the Facility.

 
 

3. Sportsmanship The undersigned agrees to demonstrate good sportsmanship in all interactions. This includes conducting all communications respectfully and resolving conflicts in accordance with the rules established by the Facility.

 
 

4. Safety The undersigned acknowledges that safety is of paramount importance and agrees to avoid engaging in reckless or dangerous play that could cause harm to themselves or others. This includes, but is not limited to, safe handling of equipment, adherence to the Facility’s construction guidelines, and responsible use of all premises and equipment. The possession and use of weapons on the premises is strictly prohibited.

 
 

5. Compliance The undersigned agrees to comply with all instructions provided by Facility staff, including those related to safety and the efficient operation of the Facility. Any disputes or disagreements shall be addressed through the proper channels as determined by the Facility.

 
 

6. Behavioral Expectations The undersigned agrees that physical altercations or the attempt to engage in physical altercations with any person are strictly prohibited. The undersigned shall not threaten, harass, or intimidate any person on the premises. The use of foul, profane, or abusive language is prohibited. Any unlawful behavior may be reported to the appropriate authorities, and legal action may be taken.

 
 

7. Abuse/Misconduct The undersigned agrees not to engage in any form of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse or misconduct toward any individual. The undersigned further agrees to immediately report any such abuse or misconduct to Crossbat management or the relevant authorities.

 
 

8. Transparency The undersigned agrees to provide truthful and accurate information to the Facility and acknowledges that providing false or misleading information is a violation of this Agreement.

 
 

9. Disruption The undersigned agrees not to engage in any disruptive behavior that interferes with their own activities or the activities of others on the premises.

 
 

10. COVID-19 and Health Protocols In the event that the undersigned is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or any other contagious illness, the undersigned agrees not to attend the Facility and to seek appropriate medical testing. The undersigned further agrees to follow any health-related protocols implemented by the Facility, including the use of face masks, if deemed necessary.

 
 

11. Final Decision The undersigned agrees that in the event of a dispute or disruption, the decision of Crossbat management shall be final, and the undersigned agrees to abide by that decision.

 
 

12. Dress Code While the Facility does not mandate a specific uniform, the undersigned agrees to wear attire that is appropriate for the weather and the activity being undertaken. The undersigned shall refrain from wearing attire that is deemed provocative, inappropriate, or disruptive to the Facility environment. Spiked shoes and flip flops are NOT allowed in the Training zone / Turf zone.

 
 

13. Children Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times. Children under 6 will NOT be allowed in the Training Zone unless specifically permitted for an event and accompanied by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must sign a waiver for the child and ensure that the child wears appropriate cricket safety gear for physical protection.

 
 

14. Food & Alcohol The undersigned acknowledges that outside food and alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the Facility premises. Any food or beverage consumption must be arranged through the Facility’s front desk, in accordance with the Facility’s policies, including any BYOB guidelines. ​No food and outside Liquids are allowed in the Training Zone.

 
 

16. Cleanliness The undersigned agrees to maintain the cleanliness of the Facility and to refrain from any activity that would soil or damage the premises.

 
 

17. Smoking (Tobacco/Marijuana) The undersigned acknowledges that the Facility is a smoke-free environment. The use of tobacco or marijuana, in any form, including but not limited to smoking, vaping, and edibles, is strictly prohibited on the premises. Violators may be subject to legal action and fines.

 
 

18. Substance Use The undersigned agrees that the use of any illegal substance, in any form, including but not limited to smoking, inhaling, vaping, injecting, or drinking, is strictly prohibited on the premises.

 
 

19. Weapons/Guns The undersigned agrees that the possession or carrying of weapons, including firearms, knives, sharp objects, or any other deadly weapon, is strictly prohibited on the premises. This prohibition extends to individuals holding a concealed carry permit or carrying any weapon, regardless of legal authorization.

 
 

20. Right of Admission Crossbat management reserves the right to refuse admission or access to any individual at its sole discretion, for any reason deemed necessary.

 
 

21. Change of Rules Crossbat management reserves the right to amend, add, or delete any of the rules and policies set forth in this Agreement at any time, without prior notice. The undersigned agrees to be bound by any such amendments, additions, or deletions.

 
 

Cancellations, Refunds, and Make-Ups

 
 

Cancellation of Leagues/Tournaments
Crossbat reserves the right to cancel any league or tournament, whether prior to the commencement of the first match or subsequent to the initiation of the event, due to insufficient enrollment. In such cases, the participant(s) shall receive a full refund.

 
 

Field/Batting Lane Rental Cancellations
In the event that a participant wishes to cancel a booking for the rental of a field or batting lane, notice of such cancellation must be provided to the Facility at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the scheduled booking time. No refund shall be issued if the cancellation notice is not provided within this specified timeframe. Once payment has been processed for the rental, no refund shall be issued for cancellations made after the booking is confirmed.

 
 

Refunds
No refunds shall be issued unless the program or event is canceled by Crossbat. In the event of such a cancellation, a full refund will be issued to the affected participant(s).

 
 

Credits for Future Rentals/Events
Under certain circumstances, as determined by Crossbat management, the Facility may issue a credit for future rentals or events. Such credit shall apply only to the unused portion of the booking and shall be calculated based on the date of withdrawal and the notice provided by the participant. Any credit issued must be coordinated and approved by a Facility Manager.

 
 

Cancellation Due to Facility Closure or Unforeseen Circumstances
Crossbat shall be responsible for cancellations only in the event that the Facility is closed or an unforeseen event (such as an emergency, natural disaster, or other circumstances beyond the Facility’s control) prevents the scheduled event or activity from taking place. In such cases, Crossbat will issue a full refund or, at the discretion of the Facility management, a credit for future use.
